Technical Sales Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will provide technical and commercial guidance, perform basic support, and maintain expertise in the products and services we offer to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and support.  

 

  

The ideal candidate will know how to identify new opportunities, prospect for new business, have proven success in opening new accounts, be highly skilled at product presentations, and have outstanding communications skills.   Candidates with 3+ years of experience selling RTU/PLC/EFM Solutions, HMI/SCADA, Industrial Radio Telemetry, and Automation solutions in the Oil & Gas, Building Controls, and/or Water/Waste Water markets strongly preferred. We will provide training on our specific product lines. Travel within the assigned territory is required.

 

 

 

 

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 

Requirements

 

  • Outstanding Communication and interpersonal skills
  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience in technical sales, and a successful track record of selling to one or more of our targeted verticals: Oil and Gas; Utilities; Building Controls.
  • Experience selling at all levels of an organization (Field; Engineering; Finance; Procurement; Marketing; C-level).  
  • Exceptional work ethic; demonstrated results as a self-starter; high level of transparency/integrity; competitive spirit with collaborative engagement.

 

Highly Desired

 

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge in industrial devices such as RTU/PLC or EFM Solutions, Industrial Radio Frequency (RF) Communications, HMI/SCADA Software, etc.
  • PLC/RTU/PAC experience - Hardware and Software  
  • HMI/SCADA development, configuration and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with Industrial Instrumentation solutions such as level, pressure and temperature monitoring
