ControlWave Designer Basics  - 3 day introduction to ControlWave Designer programming software.  Students will leave with the ability to install, configure and troubleshoot Remote Automation Solutions ControlWave PAC using ControlWave Designer.   Topics include:  

 

bulletControlWave Hardware and Options (Communications, I/O, etc...)
bulletProgramming basics (Signal Names, Tasks, System Signals, I/O Assignments, etc...)
bulletIntro to IEC-61131-3 programming standards (all 5 languages)
bulletUtilizing IEC-6-1131-3 Languages (choosing a language for a process)
bulletBasic Control (Calculations, Logical Expressions, Operations, etc..)
bulletCommunications (Addressing, Signal Lists, Basic Communications, etc...)
bullet Client/Server versus Master/Slave communications
bulletControlWave to Network 3000 Communications
bullet Communications via 3rd Party protocols (using Modbus as a example)
bullet Alarming and data storage function blocks
bulletDeveloping User defined function blocks for easier development
bullet Network Topology options and utilizing Netview
bulletTips and Tricks
