TBox Fundamentals

A two (2) day introduction to the CSE-Semaphore TBox RTU/PLC Platform. Students will leave with the ability to install, configure, maintain and perform basic troubleshooting on TBox RTU/PLC products.

Topics Include:

Introduction to TBox Hardware Platforms - TBox MS, TBox LT and TBox WM

Basics Wiring - Power, Communications, I/O, etc.

Installation of TWinSoft Configuration and Programming Software

Communicating with TBox products from your PC/Laptop

Configuring communications, I/O, and various options

Communicating via Modbus to 3rd Party products

Utilizing TBox Internal Alarming - General principals and configuration

Utilizing TBox Chronologies/Datalogging - General principals and configuration

Introduction to WebForm Studio - Developing simple diagnostics Graphics for local troubleshooting

Basic programming with IEC61131-3 Ladder Diagram and BASIC Languages

Various additional topics

Duration: Two (2) Days

Class Size: Maximum ten (10) students, Minimum four (4) students

Prerequisites/Requirements: Student provided laptop/PC with Windows XP OS or newer
